Weeknight rowing: Our Juniors have offered to get off the water a little early for the next few weeks to allow Masters to start at 5:45pm. If you have a boat signed out that the Jrs have on the water, please don’t ask them to leave it on the water unless your full crew is there and ready to take over as dock space is at a premium. Please do not linger on the dock as daylight is limited this month. (Note: This week, sunset time is 7:17 on Tuesday and 7:21 on Thursday.) As water workout will be short, provided below are erg workouts to augment your training.
Tue: SS - aim for 10k. Technical focus: square the blade before arriving to the catch.
Thu: SS - aim for 10k. Technical focus: Blade placement at the end of the recovery. (ie: start placing the blade in the water at the end of recovery)
Sat: Head of the Fort race in Langley (no SatM coach on water/PCOC rules if rowing at VRC).
