for those who still plan to go for this Thursday's (December 22nd) snowshoeing, few important details:
1) We are meeting up at Cypress mountain at the Nordic Side at 6:20pm where rental booth is (i guess it will be closed by then but easy point to know where to meet). Again, it is NOT DOWNHILL side, it's Nordic Ski side of the mountain.
2) I am not sure if renting will still opened that time so i would suggest to lend snowshoes from your friend or from your closest MEC store. Rent it tomorrow so you have it on Thursday!
3) Bring with you a head lamp, gloves and gators (it is what you wrap around your foot so so that the snow doesn't get in your shoes.
4) If share rides, choose a car with winter tires.
5) Take some snack and a some water!
The whole event should not take more then 90minutes.
