We have workouts scheduled that lead to 2000m R28 test but we might be going for Plan B based on air temperature. Based on the forecast for the current week, during the evening time from Monday to Thursday the temperature will be somewhere between 0 to -2 C, which might be challenging to perform 2000m on Thursday and do high intensity pieces. I did write the workouts as a primary plan anyways, but we might change it.
For those who come in the morning to workout and decide to erg anyways, follow your common sense. I would suggest to adjust your numbers by 3-4 seconds as you won't consume same amount of oxygen in that temperature and do the same intensity. But my suggestion would be, if it's too cold, do cardio in the gym. I am not saying that we canceling or skipping workouts but just a message of awareness about the temperature. Let's come to the club anyways and then we'll decide what we can do.
As on the other note, in past, i used to bring ergs upstairs to the harbour room (with permission from the office). If it's allowed, then we'll do 2000m R28 upstairs. I will send another message tomorrow afternoon as i need to double check if Harbour room is available.
And for now, stay healthy, see you all in the club!
