For those of you that have been thinking about coming down to erg with the rest of the team and for those of you that have been planning the new years resolution efforts but seem to be struggling a bit with it - In the words of the immortal Bob Barker - COME ON DOWN! There has been an excellent turn out virtually every night but there is always room for you.
Results:
For those of you that have been consistent in your training thus far this winter, the results are really starting to show. Not only are you posting better and better numbers but your form and mental toughness is shining through. I am quite pleased with your continual reach for advancing your fitness!
Forecast:
Next month a stability/strength program will be rolled out for you to start on. The goal of this program will be to increase core stability through sport specific movements along with a supplement of other routines. Ideally, you will complete the work before your erg sessions. I know that this will be difficult at times. Give it your best shot.
Erg testing:
It is very important that you come to practice (last week of January and the first week of February) well rested and healthy. Our 6k erg test will be the new benchmark for the next 60 days of training and which you will build your success on.
