Tue Focus is Finish. 1x/2-try to achieve 12K+; 2x and up 16K+: SS/technical. Row at least 4K between water breaks (make your turns as if you were doing a head race-quickly!)
Thu Focus is Finish. WU to 6:45pm. 3x8'. Begin with R24, take it up 2 strokes every 2'. SS for 4' (break). Focus is on increasing boat speed, not just rate. Rate increase starts at the catch. Oars need to move faster through the water, then follow up with slightly faster slide, then faster again on the drive, and again increase of slide speed until gradually bringing it up to desired stroke rate. Be deliberate and controlled.
Sat WU to 8:45am. 3 x 1k (with row back to wall) as conditions allow. Teams need to work on taking it up last 250m. Up by 2 every 10 strokes.
