As we near the end of this year’s cycle (week 50), I think we should consider ourselves fortunate to have been able to continue growing in our sport. I see improvements in technique and in fitness on the water and land training and I enjoy our all round good spirits on the dock. 2020 has ‘been one for the books’ and now that it is in our rear view, let’s get ready for some racing (?) (fingers crossed) in 2022.
The third week of January is RADAR testing for those of the SatM/SunM who have access to an erg. (Jan18-20’@R24; Jan20-2K open; Jan22-1’ max pressure.) As you know, I stipulated that SatM/SunM's who wish to participate in the TT/Matrix in May must have performed the RADAR testing over the winter in a timely fashion and when scheduled. Since Omicron has interrupted our flow, I will be giving those of you who do not have an erg, an opportunity for a make up test once we can begin erging again so you can catch up to the group.
This week’ practices:
Tue: WU 20’ R18. R 2’. 20’ [4x1’ R30 at projected 2k split w 4’ SS]
