Congratulations to all our rowers. We've had a very good year and our training programme has produced some very good results. We have been working hard on developing consistent technique, building up compatible crews, and developing a higher level of understanding as it relates to rowing fitness and the strength and conditioning that requires. We look forward to building on this foundation for our upcoming year with the US Masters in August being our marquis regatta in 2020. I look forward to taking the journey with you.

 

Day 1) Erg. 40’ non stop (40’ = 20’ steady state + for next 20’ do 4 cycles of 20’ at 2k race pace at your race rate, followed by 4’ 40” seconds at steady state again).

 

Day 2) 2k R26 ! Note - It is important to please send your erg score to saraforsting@gmail.com

 

Day 3) Practice on water: Steady state technical row. Focus on sustaining firm pressure on the face of the blade during the drive, with blade clearance on the square at the finish.
