Day 1) Steady states, technical. Work on proper blade placement in the water. The objectives of the session are to lock the blade in the water through the horizontal direction of the blade movement after the moment of the entry. We still can see in the club with many crews that after the entry at the catch, the blade continues moving down deep. In this case, you still can propel the boat forward but there will be quite a bit more drag (because of the blade depth) and less efficiency because the spoon doesn't stay locked in place. To simplify the explanation of the session, just don't place the blade in the water deep and hold them in place by connecting to the foot plate at the right time.
Day 2) Resistance training with bungees. R18-20.
Day 3) It should be an intersectional regatta between Masters and Juniors this Saturday. More information to come shortly. In case if it doesn't' happen, then there is a Time Trial: 20min (10min R24/ 10min R26)
