Athlete nutrition : a few links for you to access and read over.

Hi Gang,

Some of you have raised concerns over the amount that you are working out/training and the amount of food or caloric intake levels you are consuming each day. I have posted a couple of links below that are educational (enough) to read over and 'digest'. The information contained in the articles is not an exhaustive source and should be read only to gain additional understanding of what you may or may not want to consider throughout your work day(s). These articles are not the 'be all and end all' either, everyone is different and it will be up to you to understand your body's need for food variety's, type(s) and quantity.

I will help you gain further insight into what you need to eat and when as we go further into our competitive season.  In the meantime: eat healthy, eat often (2-3hrs) and hydrate all day in preparation for the evening's workout.

Hope this starts you off right.
